The bets are determined by checking a wide variety of projections against my own knowledge of how players will be utilized given game context. The player prop lines were taken from this site.
We're expecting the following teams to rest starters: Buffalo Bills (Josh Allen hurt, can't win AFC East), LA Chargers (banged up, can't win AFC West), Philadelphia Eagles (clinched NFC East, can't get a bye), and Green Bay Packers (locked into 7 seed). The Rams are the only "question" I have here - they cannot improve beyond the 5 seed, and may be fully locked into it depending on what happens in the Niners/Rams game, which happens on Saturday. Sean McVay's history of resting starters led me to believe that he'll do the same Sunday, but he did say that he will play starters "regardless of what happens on Saturday Night between the Seahawks and the 49ers." The market seems to believe McVay, as the Rams are currently an 8.5-point favorite against the Cardinals. Call me highly skeptical.
