Our week 3 results and season to date stats are below. Some thoughts:
-We got crushed in the Houston/Indy game, going 1-4 across 5 bets. Nothing really sticks out to me as crazy (it was a 19-17 battle that ended in Indy's favor). We were just on the wrong side of some of those bets.
-We hit a Kenneth Walker under. I'm stunned.
-Our days of betting Jeremiyah Love over's might be done for. He is clearly over the high-ankle sprain he suffered in the preseason, earing 21/23 RB carries in Sunday's 36-30 loss to the 49ers. Keep in mind the Cardinals backup running back is Tyler Allgeier, who earned a 2 year, 12.5 million dollar contract this offseason. His number will be significantly higher going forward, and I wouldn't be surprised if the model passes on it. Time will tell.
-I wrote in the preview blog that Kyren Williams was in a 50/50 timeshare with Blake Corum, but figured Williams would take over since he's clearly been the better back. That happened Sunday Night - Williams had 15 carries to Corum's 6. Kyren hit his over in the 2nd quarter.
-We had a few tough losses: We had Tre Tucker's under at 40.5 and he finished with 43. Croskey-Merritt had 36 rushing yards, missing out on his 40.5 number. There's some bigger losses too, but I'm going to ignore those.
-We narrowly had our first losing week of the season, but we're still sitting at 52-36 overall.
