Some miscellaneous notes:
- With Malik Nabers (ACL) and Darius Slayton (hamstring) sidelined, Jalin Hyatt stepped into the WR3 role for the Giants, running a route on 22 of 35 dropbacks. He saw 5 targets (and dropped one), but still barely squeaked over his line.
- Malik Washington was another nail-biter — 5 targets, no drops, and still came up short of 26.5 yards. We’ll take it.
- Jaylen Warren burned us late, finishing with 52 rushing yards on 11 carries while Kenneth Gainwell and Kaleb Johnson combined for 12 carries of their own. Just missed there. Same story with Marquise Brown, who landed at 45 yards — a yard and a half over our under.
- Old man Rodgers did us a favor, staying under his pass attempts number by exactly one throw.
- Dillon Gabriel wasn’t sharp (4.3 YPA, four turnover-worthy plays), but volume bailed us out — 58 dropbacks easily cleared the 183.5 line.
- Zach Charbonnet couldn’t get anything going, finishing with 24 rushing yards on 2.0 per carry plus one catch for 13 yards.
- And finally, D’Andre Swift smashed his receiving over on one play — a 55-yard grab that sealed the deal.
