Notes & Recap
Despite Puka Nacua (ankle) being out, Tutu Atwell was a complete non-factor — he ran just 9 routes on 42 dropbacks and wasn’t even targeted once.
Parker Washington, on the other hand, was a full-time player, running 53 of 59 routes, tied with Travis Hunter for the team lead. He drew 10 targets (caught 4, dropped 2), but volume carried him well over his number.
The Chuba Hubbard under was the week’s pain point. Coming off a calf injury, logic suggested Rico Dowdle — one of the most efficient RBs in football over the past two weeks — would lead the way. Logic was wrong. Hubbard out-snapped Dowdle (38–33) while Dowdle was clearly better: 4.6 YPC (3.24 after contact) to Hubbard’s 2.2 (2.07 after contact). I need to start projecting stupidity. (Not salty at all.)
Somehow cashed on Josh Reynolds, which feels like stealing given it was a Jets over. He finished with 29 yards — just 1.5 over the line.
Chris Moore had only two catches… but one went for 44 yards
We split the 49ers props, with Jennings staying under but Bourne doing absolutely nothing on his over.
Jayden Higgins became the second player of the week to gift us an under with a goose egg.
Cade Otton was a rough beat — 9 targets, tied for the team lead with Tez Johnson. Losing Mike Evans (shoulder/concussion) early didn’t help, but honestly, that was probably a bad read from the start.
Sam Darnold entered the week with the league’s lowest turnover-worthy play rate (1.1%). He stayed mistake-free until the 4th quarter… then hung one short to A.J. Barner, and Derek Stingley made him pay.
Ended up 5–5, which means the vig takes the W.
